Kaws x MLB Collection Drops for Yankees & Dodgers Fans
Limited-edition jerseys, caps, and trading cards drop July 16-20.
Get it at Fanatics, MLB, Complex, Nike stores
Kaws has teamed up with MLB for a limited-edition collection featuring the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. The drop includes reimagined jerseys, T-shirts, hoodies, caps, and even autographed trading cards. This collaboration coincides with the teams' upcoming series at Yankee Stadium, making it a must-have for fans and collectors alike.
What's Dropping
The collection includes Nike jerseys, T-shirts, hoodies, and fitted/snapback caps featuring Kaws' signature XX motif and companion character. There are also Rawlings baseballs, Marucci bats, and a limited run of Topps trading cards. Some trading cards will include randomly inserted autographs from Kaws, adding extra value for collectors. Notably, Yankees star Aaron Judge will have rare inserts in the new Topps X KAWS X MLB release, and Shohei Ohtani is expected to be a big chase in the upcoming Topps limited release.
When & Where
The collection debuts in-person at Fanatics Fest in NYC from July 16-19, at Yankees Stadium team stores on July 16, and at Dodgers Stadium on July 31. Online sales start July 20 via Complex, MLB, and Fanatics websites, as well as Nike's online and physical stores. Quantities are limited, so act fast.
KAWS and Complex hosted a private dinner at Yankee Stadium to celebrate the collection.
The Play
For resellers, this drop is a high-potential flip due to Kaws' strong secondary market presence. Focus on the autographed trading cards and exclusive jerseys, as these will likely command the highest premiums. For collectors, the appeal lies in the unique blend of Kaws' art with iconic MLB team branding. Either way, be ready at drop times and consider multiple platforms to maximize your chances.
Is It Worth It?
Given Kaws' track record, this collection is likely to sell out quickly and gain value on the secondary market. While exact resale prices aren't available yet, similar past collaborations have seen 2-3x retail flips. For fans, it's a rare chance to own a piece of this unique crossover between street art and baseball culture.
